WHY TAURINE MATTERS
Taurine is found in high amounts in their heart, eyes and muscles. Unlike many animals, cats make very little of it on their own, so it has to come from what they eat.
Taurine is the most abundant free amino acid in the heart muscle and helps regulate the calcium behind every beat. In cats, long-term low taurine has been linked to changes in heart muscle.
The retina holds one of the highest concentrations of taurine in the body. In cats, low taurine has been linked to changes in the retina.
Taurine plays a role in the immune response and in keeping everyday inflammation in check.
As one of the body's key antioxidants, taurine helps protect cells from the daily wear that comes with age.

THE SIGNS OWNERS CALL “JUST OLD AGE”
You notice it a little more every month. You tell yourself it's normal. But you lie awake wondering how much time you have left.

The sunny spot is empty. They’ve found a quieter corner, away from everyone.

They used to leap onto the counter in one go. Now they look, think, and give up.

Less play, more naps. Less of the cat you know.

A thinner coat, and eyes that don’t follow the toy like they used to.

The sofa used to be nothing. Now they sit at the bottom, sizing it up.
If you notice any of these signs, talk to your vet.
THEY’RE 15.
You don’t want to watch them slow down.
You don’t want to wonder “did I do enough?”
You just want more time with your baby.
And the one after that.
Waiting at the door when you come home.
Quiet nights, for both of you.

THE TAURINE LEAK
Their food has taurine. The problem happens after the bowl: every meal costs them a little, and some of it never comes back. We call it the taurine leak.

Cats rely only on taurine to make bile salts, the fluid that digests fat. Unlike us, they can’t swap in another amino acid.
Bile is recycled, but some taurine is lost after every meal, and more with some high-fiber foods.
Bacteria in the gut break down part of that taurine before it can be reused.
That’s why even a well-fed cat keeps using taurine up. You don’t need to become a nutritionist. Refill what leaks, when it leaks: a daily scoop, sized to their weight, with their meals.

AS THEY GET OLDER
As cats age, three things can squeeze their taurine at the same time.
01 · LESS COMING IN
Many older cats eat less, and cats get their taurine from food, so less taurine comes in.
02 · NO BACKUP FACTORY
Unlike many animals, cats make very little taurine themselves, so there’s no big reserve to lean on when less comes in.
03 · MORE LEAKING
Some “senior” and “light” foods are higher in fiber, and with some fibers more taurine is lost after meals.
One daily gesture for all three. Changing their food is your vet’s call: Gleepaw works alongside their vet’s plan.
TAURINE, EXPLAINED
Meet taurine: an amino acid found in your cat’s heart, eyes and muscles.
Inside the heart: taurine helps regulate the calcium behind each beat.
Why it matters: cats can’t make enough on their own, so it has to come from food.
The eyes, digestion and immunity.
A daily scoop, dosed for their weight, alongside your vet’s plan.
DOSED BY WEIGHT, GIVEN WITH MEALS
Many taurine powders give every cat the same scoop. That’s not a dose, that’s a guess. We dose taurine by weight and give it with meals.
01
Find their weight in the chart below. It takes 5 seconds.
02
Onto their food, wet or dry. Split between breakfast and dinner if you can.
03
The leak happens at every meal, so we refill with their meals.
Step on the scale holding them, then subtract your own weight. Your vet can also weigh them at your next visit.
On heart medication or a special diet? Always follow your vet’s plan, and check with your vet before adding Gleepaw.

Love what you see? Keep going. Not for you? Full refund, and you keep the jar.
Every cat is different. Gleepaw supports normal heart function in senior cats and works alongside your vet’s care.

Taurine is an amino acid that plays a role in heart, eye, digestive and immune function. Cats can't make enough of it on their own, so it has to come from food. Gleepaw is a simple daily way to top up the taurine your cat's diet may be missing, and it can be part of a long-term wellness routine.
Complete cat foods are formulated with added taurine, but the amount can vary, and cooking and processing can reduce it. Gleepaw adds a consistent, measured amount on top of what your cat already gets from meals.
Gleepaw is made with senior and adult cats in mind. If you have a kitten, please check with your vet before adding any new supplement to their routine.
Gleepaw is a fine, tasteless powder that mixes into wet or dry food. Cats can be particular, so start with a small amount stirred into a little wet food and build up to the full scoop over a few days.
One jar lasts about 120 days for cats under 8 lb, 60 days for cats between 8 and 11 lb, 40 days for cats between 12 and 15 lb, and 30 days for cats over 15 lb, when you follow the Daily Scoop Guide.
Gleepaw is a nutritional supplement and is not a treatment for any condition. If your cat has been diagnosed with a heart condition, follow your vet's plan and ask them before adding Gleepaw.
Every cat needs taurine from their diet. Cats eating home-prepared or unbalanced diets are more likely to get too little. If you're not sure your cat's diet covers it, talk to your vet about daily taurine support.
Taurine is generally well tolerated, but every cat is different. If your cat takes medication or other supplements, or has a health condition, check with your vet first.
Every cat is different. Consistency matters most, so we recommend giving Gleepaw every day for 8 to 12 weeks before judging. You have 90 days to decide.
